ModuVida

Sustainable living and modular thinking through modern architecture

The problem

Traditional on-site construction creates significant environmental harm, including excessive waste, air and noise pollution, and inefficient use of materials. These process results in much of the byproduct ending up in landfills. In places like Canada, building a single home can generate 2 to 4.5 tons of waste per 100 square meters due to transportation pollution, waste of excess of materials, noise pollution and many other such problems. This highlights the unsustainable nature of current construction practices.

The solution

The project is known as Modu Vida, a fully modular, sustainably designed home system that shifts construction off-site into controlled environments. Modu Vida minimizes waste, lowers pollution, and ensures higher efficiency and quality control by building rooms and floors individually and assembling them on location. My project has the potential to transform the entire construction industry by redesigning how homes are built.

The outcome

The result is a sleek, eco-conscious living space that embodies both aesthetic innovation and environmental responsibility. The physical model of Modu Vida demonstrates how modular design can produce elegant, layered architecture that’s both functional and beautiful, proving that sustainability doesn’t mean sacrificing style or quality.
